Charity concert in support of EPÉE asbl

The Brussels Chamber Choir will be performing in a special charity concert for the asbl Epée. This community centre in the Brussels district of the Marolles organises after-school activities and help with homework for local children and teenagers. During the first half of the concert, Philippe Raposo and Daphné Groenendaels will play new and traditional Portuguese music on Classical and Portuguese guitars. The BCC will then perform some of its favourite a cappella works in a varied programme including early music by Tallis, Gombert and Monteverdi, contemporary works by Eric Whitacre, Sarah Hopkins and Elaine Hagenberg, and Samuel Barber’s famous Agnus Dei.
